Dear Manchester Soccer Club Families,

We are excited to participate in the Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 25, beginning at 9:30 AM.

All youth organizations will meet at the bus stop in front of Bennet Apartments, across from Firestone Art Studio. Please plan to arrive between 8:30–8:45 AM so we have time to get organized before the parade begins.

Players should wear their Manchester Soccer Club jerseys (Travel or Rec) along with comfortable walking shoes.

Please note that the parade route includes a challenging uphill walk. Families with younger participants may want to consider whether their child is comfortable completing the full route.

The parade will begin at the Army and Navy Club (1090 Main Street), continue east on East Center Street, then turn west at Agostinelli Memorial Park, concluding at Center Memorial Park for the Memorial Day Program honoring our fallen veterans.

The parade organizers asked us to keep two important reminders in mind:

• This is a memorial event, so participants are expected to behave respectfully and in a more solemn manner throughout the parade.
• Please do not bring flags to wave. Traditionally, large ceremonial flags are presented at the beginning and end of the parade, and service members salute those flags as they pass.
