Early Bird Registration Opens JANUARY 1, 2010!
REC PROGRAM INFORMATION
Players learn the technical and tactical aspects of soccer, the importance of good sportsmanship & team play, exercise, build endurance, and enjoy playing in an instructional, non-competitive environment. Practices are held one night during the week at the Kennedy Road Soccer Complex, with games on Saturday’s. Younger players (5-8 yrs) play on teams that are age and gender appropriate. Older players may play on coed teams.
Registration opens 01/01/10. Please click on "ON-LINE REGISTRATION" in the left column.
Age Requirement: Children must be born 8/1/95 – 12/31/04 in order to participate.
(Note: MSC also offers a preschool program for children born 01/01/05 – 12/31/06)
Season: Practices (once/week) will begin the week of April 25th and continue throughout the season. Games will be played on the following Saturday mornings 5/8, 5/15, 5/22, (no game 5/29), 6/5, 6/12, and 6/19, with a raindate of 6/26.
Cost: Manchester Soccer Club is offering two payment options:
Registrations completed 01/01/2010-02/28/2010 qualify for our "EARLY BIRD" program fees: $40.00 per player ($60./player Non-resident) and $80.00 per family ($120.00/family non-resident). Note: In order to qualify for the REC family rate, 3 or more of your children must be registered in the RECREATIONAL Program. (We do not consider siblings in the preschool or travel programs)
Registrations completed 03/01/2010-06/12/2010 qualify for our "OPEN REGISTRATION" program fees: $45.00 per player ($65./player Non-resident) and $90.00 per family $130.00 non-resident). Note: In order to qualify for the REC family rate, 3 or more of your children must be registered in the RECREATIONAL Program. (We do not consider siblings in the preschool or travel programs)
The Program fees cover expenses for T-shirts, ins., coach clinics, admin., equip., and referees.
There are NO REFUNDS.
Note: Registration is NOT complete until fees are RECEIVED by MSC.
Special Requests: Due to the size of our program, we can NOT honor special requests.
We encourage you to register as early as possible.
Returned Check Policy: If checks are returned to us by the bank, Money Orders or Cash will be required to replace said check. The money order or cash must include appropriate registration fees, a $10.00 bank charge, and a $10.00 processing fee. (For example: A Manchester resident submitting check replacement fees after 2/28 would be required to pay $45.00 registration, $10.00 bank chg., and $10.00 processing fee = $65.00 money order or cash)
Teams: Separate girls and boys teams will be formed in the younger divisions. (Possible Coed in the 11-13 year old divisions).
Player Equipment: Each player will receive a MSC T-shirt. Sneakers or cleats may be worn. Shin guards are mandatory. (Players are encouraged to wear socks OVER their shin guards) Players are encouraged to bring their own practice ball. (5-6 years = size 3 ball / 7 years & older = size 4 ball)
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: In order to run our program effectively, we depend on volunteers, such as yourself, to coach and assist our players during practices and games. No previous experience is required. If you enjoy working with children & are available a few hours each week, we’ll provide FREE coach training.
